PERMA-BLITZ

Updated: Dec 7, 2020

Nov 16 and Dec 5, 2020, The CSF group held it's first two Perma-Blitzes. --The first being hosted by CSF member Jennine and the second by members Macile & Kevy. --A Perma-Blitz is an event where community members come together and knock out a big gardening project all at once. It's a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and build (a more resilient) community.

The group was able to accomplish quite a bit at both events (each one lasting only two hours). Check out these two short documentary clips created by the very talented CSF member and local artist Essie Rhodes which highlight the group's efforts.

*Over 180+ pounds of sweet potatoes and several pounds of peanuts were harvested from Marcile & Kevy's yard at their event. --They very graciously gifted participants with a box of produce from their local shop--KENWOOD ORGANIC PRODUCE.
